Some people asked me Craig what made you go to Hawaii and when are you coming back? Well for one I always wanted to leave NYC during the winter time because I can't stand the cold weather. Maybe it's because I almost died of a pneumonia when I was an infant when the nurses in Jamaica Hospital left me by the window with barely any clothes on. So when my former tenant Yorel kept posting beautiful pics of Hawaii on facebook I was becoming more and more interested and began to talk with him about how he was doing in Hawaii. I was also having car trouble so during the time I was taking the bus and waiting at the bus stop in freezing temperatures. I was tired of making excuses why I couldn't go and I found ways to come up with the money and so I began to book my flight and make preparations to leave. After making the decision I left within 2 weeks time. Now that I'm here I must say God has truly confirmed that I made the right move. It's like every time I here my family and friends complaining about how cold it is in New York I'm reminded by the hot sun here that I'm in the right place.
And to top it off I was at New Wine for the Nations and Pastor Eric stopped in the middle of his message and prophesied to me that I'm in the right place and that God will use many to inspire many men who have almost giving up on life & their dreams. This prophecy has already been fulfilled and I've been able to not only inspire
many men here but I've also had the priveledge of leading a soul to Christ. I feel so honored & loved by the almighty that he afford me this wonderful opportunity to be on the one of the most beautiful places on earth. The people of Hawaii are also very friendly and kind. It's the Aloha spirit of Love that's all around us.
It's not like some other places where people give dirty looks at you if look their direction. Over here when you look towards someone they give you a beautiful smile and they say Aloha which means Hello, Bye and Love. The word Aloha has a deep rich meaning. alo meaning "presence" and ha, meaning "breath of life" or
"essence of life."
alo, 1. sharing 2. in the present
oha, joyous affection, joy
ha, life energy, life, breath
Literally it's
"The joyful sharing of life energy in the present" or simply "Joyfully sharing
life". oha, joyous affection, joy
ha, life energy, life, breath
